Halogen Par Cans
PROS: Easy set up. Colors limited to selection of special gels.
Cheaper.
CONS: Hot! One pre-determined color throughout the night. Uses more power.
LED Par Cans
PROS: Just about an endless choice of colors.
Cool to the touch. Can be programmed to shift colors either randomly
or at key transition times i.e. cocktails into dinner, dinner into
dancing.
CONS: Doesn't reproduce yellow, golds or pure white very well. Cable
runs between fixtures if lights are to be synched with each other.
